Co hosts Don Dubuc and Linda Cuccia recently accepted the Best of Louisiana Outdoors Radio Show for 2017 award at the LA Sportsman Deer Duck and Fall Fishing Expo in the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The Outdoors with Don Dubuc Radio Network was selected as best statewide by outdoor enthusiasts who voted in an online poll. Don also received the Best Spokesperson for LA's Outdoors as well as Best Outdoor TV Show for his role as co host of Paradise LA TV.

Often called “specks” due to the numerous dark spots they have on their upper back, spotted seatrout (Cynoscion nebulosus) are a popular game fish. These fish can be identified by their elongated bodies, elevated back and long pointed heads with the lower jaw extending beyond the upper. They have silvery gray or greenish color on the upper sides of their bodies, along with an iridescent sheen of light blue or purple on the upper back.
Don and Linda spent a couple days fishing rainbow trout, Dolly Varden, sockeye (red) and silver salmon on the upper and lower areas of the Kenai River while Capt Ryan Lambert and his guests likited out on rock fish , halibut, silver salmon and and ling cod They closed out the trip with a tour through 26 majestic glaciers loaded with wildlife, birds, waterfalls and stunning ice covered mountains.
